Exercise Consultation

 

Robert Yang consults with clients in his private practice located in Encinitas, California.  His exercise programs are based on a thorough musculoskeletal evaluation that consists of:

  • Health history
  • Posture analysis
  • Length Tension Tests
  • Core Function/Stability Tests
  • Core Strength Testing
  • Range of Motion Tests
  • Movement Analysis
  • Maximal Strength Tests(Elite Athletes or Strength Athletes)
  • Body Composition Test( 9 site skin fold)

Following the evaluation, Robert will design an individualized exercise program that is appropriate for your body, and your goals.  

In your next consultation, Robert will take you through your exercise program.  In order to ensure proper technique, all stretches and exercises will be filmed and recorded for you.  All videos will be emailed to you.


HOW MANY HOURS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST EXERCISE PROGRAM?

The initial evaluation will take 2-3 hours (if multiple injuries are present then 3 hours will be necessary).

Designing the program will take 1.5 hours.

Exercise instruction will take approximately 2-3 hours. Clients flying in from out of town may schedule 2-3 hours in one session.  Local clients may spread out the exercise instruction over multiple 1 hour sessions.


WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT FOR A CONSULTATION?

The hours of consultation will range from 6-8 hours (Depending on your health history and symptoms). The consultation are charged as follows:

1 hour: $240 
45 min: $180 
30 min: $120
15 min: $60

FOLLOW UP CONSULTATIONS ARE CHARGED AS FOLLOWS:
Follow up evaluations are scheduled 4-6 weeks after the initial evaluation to monitor progress and implement a new program.  Total time for the re-evaluation , program design, and exercise instruction are as follows:

Re-evaluation will take 1 hour.

The design of the program will take 1.5 hours

Exercise Instruction will take 1-2 hours.

1 hour: $240 
45 min: $180 
30 min: $120 
15 min: $60
